Cutting and Cheese Boards from Kentucky Cutting Boards
are quite simply, beautiful, functional art at a reasonable
cost. Our unique, yet practical cutting boards make
ideal hostess, wedding and holiday gifts. They may
be used as cutting boards, bread boards, sushi boards
or as serving pieces. And they are lovely displayed
on your countertop.
Our cutting board is a 10X14
rectangle with rounded corners. The board is made
of Appalachian Maple (maple
is touted as one of the safest anti-bacterial food
cutting surface available –including plastic).
Each board comes with a label indicating the species
of wood used for the inlays plus care and preservation
recommendations. In addition, the side of every board
is stamped with our signature horseshoe brand to identify
your piece as an authentic Kentucky Cutting Board.
One side features a design that is inlaid with various
species of wood (including South American Purple Heart,
African Lacewood and Wenge, and Brazilian Cherry to
name a few) and the other side remains unadorned.
We currently have seven cutting boards, Nautical Star,
Fleur de Lis, Trout, African Fish (two inlay options),
Pineapple, Horse Head, Ladybug.
We manufacture solid wood display stands as well (each
holds one large cutting board) and one is provided
free with every order of eight boards. Additional stands
are available for $6.00 each.
Our Cheese Boards have handles with a leather rawhide
loop so it can be hung.
The original Cheese Board is crafted of Cumuru (like
Teak). These boards are a nut brown color. Options
include a New Orleans style Fleur de Lis inlay of Maple
and Purple Heart. Other choices: Grape Bunch and a
Horse Head Sillhouette. Also in Cumuru: The Leaf with
three types of inlays (Maple, Purple Heart and Walnut).
Our newest Cheese Board is a Maple and American Cherry
striped board with a Louisville style Fleur de Lis
(Brazilian Cherry and Purple Heart inlay).
Other options: Star and Horse Head. This board also
has a strap for hanging.
We have both a manufacturing plant and a warehouse
for storage. We have drop-ship capabilities.
